Hi, here’s your HR quickie for today, March 4, 2022.

Effective today 03/04/22, Los Angeles county has lifted its indoor mask mandate.

Additionally, vaccination verification is no longer required at outdoor mega-events indoor portions of bars, lounges, nightclubs etc. (vaccination verification or a recent negative test will still be required at indoor mega events),

Now, while LA county officials are still strongly recommending mask use in indoor public settings, it’s no longer a requirement for businesses.

So, that gives you as the employer, the flexibility to decide if you want to keep a mask requirement for customers and employees, either or both.

So, if you have a policy in place, you can keep it, revise it, or delete it altogether.
