Confession time. I watched a video this morning and my brain packed a bag and left the building. Somewhere between a CEO coach explaining why 10x is easier than 2x and a glance at my calendar, it hit me that it’s October, our three-year plan is behind, and my leadership retreat is a couple of weeks away. When did that happen?

In this episode, I’m thinking out loud about whether I’ve been chasing a giant goal in a tiny plane, why sprinting through fourth quarter is probably the wrong move, and the unglamorous HR stuff that quietly wrecks big plans when nobody owns it. I don’t have all the answers, and I’m saying so up front. But I do have a question for you, and it’s a good one.
